madara mikejima is (currently) my biggest comfort character. look at his smile :-]

MADARA

i always liked madara from the start but it never really hit me until later on when i was having a horrible night and his dumb song yukai tsuukai that's alright came on shuffle and i felt violently, but kindly, thrown out of my huge depressive episode in an instant.

i still have no idea why it got to me to that degree at that moment, it's not like it was the first time i heard the song but it just made me glue myself to madara-- it had been a long, long time since a character had had that kind of affect on me!

from there i glued myself to him for a little while but it fizzled out to him just floating around my top favourites-- jin and hokuto were still my #1-- that was until a similar thing happened when stippling came on-- the song glued itself to me this time!

MIKEJIMA.

for better or worse; he reminds me a lot of myself. take that as you will!

he means a lot to me: as a character, for what he's helped me with, for how i relate and see myself in him, for his story and development and his stupid amount of layers and masks, for his music... on and on. you get the jist!
